Sinn-Grayling in November

Size 23 midge


On the upcoming weekend, Meefischli are heading north to river Glomma in Norway. Here’s a size 23 cdc midge, which still needs to be coiffured. Arge Sinntal stocking


For many years now, the Arge Sinntal is taking a stand for repatriation of fish species in the “Sinn”, that are extinct or only existing in very few numbers. Besides the common nase, barbel, and several small fish species like loach and minnow, the Arge above all is taking care of the population of the grayling. The populations of the smaller species have evolved splendidly, but among the grayling there were many casualties, due to the massive raids of cormorants in the winter.
